The Actor: Aftermath

As he watched the film, Taylor couldn't believe the woman on the screen was really him. He had perfectly captured the role of a female and anyone who didn't know it was him would think they were watching a real woman on screen. After the final scene, everyone stood and applauded. At the after party, everyone commended him on his portrayal of the character. While he was glad to finally be taken seriously by the acting community, he felt even better just for having seen how well he did in the role. While he had been apprehensive at first about playing a female character who shared the same name as him, after seeing the final product he knew it was all worth it.
In the days before the film's wide release, Taylor began checking the reviews for the film. He was surprised to see the film had a 98% positive rating and his performance was widely lauded by the critics. When the film was finally released, it earned a surprisingly high box office total that dramas don't usually see. Taylor began getting offered a variety of dramatic roles, as well as a few action, comedy, and horror roles. While most of the roles were for male characters, there were a few female roles in there too. One of which was a popular female superhero, but Taylor wasn't sure if he wanted to attach himself to a role that would undoubtedly spawn at least one or two sequels. He decided to hold off on another female role at the moment, but became Taylor the actress again to shoot some bonus footage for the BluRay release. Since he had filmed scenes for a variety of projects in the film, they decided to include some fake movie trailers in the bonus features. They also included the full music videos, commercials, and other footage that had been previously shot. A lot of the commercials, magazines, calendars, and music videos were aired on TV or released to the public as actual products to tie in with both the theatrical and BluRay releases.
A few months later, Taylor learned that he had been nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Actor. He was nominated against a 95 year old Jack Nicholson, an almost 70 year old Johnny Depp, 50 year old Josh Pence, and 33 year old Nolan Gould, who like Taylor began his career as a kid playing Luke on the sitcom "Modern Family." After the end of "Modern Family," Gould eventually moved into teen comedies before settling into dramatic roles. Gould was one of Taylor's acting inspirations growing up and was honored to be nominated alongside him. On the night of the ceremony, Meagan Good, the previous year's Best Actress winner, came up to announce the nominees for Taylor's category. Taylor was shocked when his name was called and took a moment to come on stage. He was surprised that at such a young age he had beaten all of these veteran actors. He came up and thanked those who had helped him with the role and honored each of his fellow nominees. Brooke also won that night for Best Supporting Actress, and the film also won Best Director, Best Picture, as well as a few other categories including Best Makeup and Best Song for a song Taylor's character sings at the end of the film.
After that day he became one of the A-List actors. He would go on to be nominated and win a variety of awards, but that first one would always be the most special to him. He would also go on to portray a few female characters, including the superhero role, but declined to reprise the role for any sequels. While he enjoyed playing the female roles, it took a lot of work getting his body to look feminine and he didn't want to go through that too often. He would also play a male detective, a male superhero, a male horror villain, and a female femme fatale, among many other male roles. The only female roles he would play would be the superhero, the femme fatale, and a mother with a sinister side later in his career.
He and Brooke were eventually married and had three children, two sons and a daughter. One of their sons and their daughter would go on to become an actor and an actress, while the other son became a lawyer. Unlike many Hollywood couples, they remained married for the rest of their lives. As they filmed their final film roles together in their mid-90's, they thought back to their first film together and how it would shape each of their careers. While Brooke would only play one more lesbian role, like Taylor she began getting offered more serious roles and would also be nominated and win a variety of awards. They would both honored by the president, AFI, SAG, and have a Star and their hands and footprints placed in Hollywood.
